We take off early in the morning and land in Porto. After leaving our bags at the hotel, we begin to explore the city: the Igreja dos Congregados the Estacao Sao Bento, the Praca da Liberdade, the Igreja dos Clerigos, from which we can admire a view of the city.
The city is part of a hill and then during our tour we pass several times from top to bottom and vice versa. We pass the Douro, then we see the Ribeira district, we climb to the Igreja de S. Francisco, the Praca do Infante and the Sé (Cathedral).
Although it’s February, the temperature is high, we walk through the city with t-shirt. In the late afternoon, we take a boat ride along the river and to the ocean (at sunset). After the boat ride, we have dinner and walk a little.

The flight is really early in the morning, we haven’t time for breakfast. We take a taxi and we go immediately to the airport.
