After landing, we take the subway that takes us in front of our hotel. It’s quite cold. We start exploring Nuremberg. From our hotel we are close to the walls, so we walk to the Spittlertorturm. We see St. Elisabeth, the Weisser Turm and the Strasse der Menshenrechte.

Along the walls we arrive at the Frauentorturm with its small houses. We enter St. Lorenz and walk around the city center. After seeing the Frauenkirche and having lunch, we climb towards the castle, from which we admire the view, unfortunately it is cloudy. Passing in front of a house we are invited to visit it internally: the Pellerhaus. Some volunteers raise funds to complete this house, destroyed during the bombing. Leaving the house, we enter St. Egidien. We walk around the center, have dinner and take pictures of the illuminated city.

It snowed during the night. In the morning we go to the Dokumentationszentrum Reichsparteitagsgelande, museum and place of the Nazi gatherings. Then we proceed to the Memorium Nurnberger Prozesse, the place where the Nuremberg trial was held.

We go back to the center for lunch. Since it is a cold day we bought the daily ticket for the museums, in the afternoon we will visit others. We start from the Tucherschloss, a little outside, then the Fembohaus, Durer’s house and we decide to see also the toy museum. After dinner we take some pictures with lights and snow.

We have seen more or less everything, so we walk a little aimlessly, after a few hours the sun comes. We take some pictures with the sun, then we go back to the hotel and go to the airport.
