It was a nice expierence. I prefer to go around, see many places, doing everything I can in the time I have, so it was pretty unusual to have nothing to do and just relax.
There were many activities, held by the animators, almost all of them were italian. I remember I really liked a night show, about Orpheus and Eurydice. It was in the water, with some torches to light the show. It was really a great show, maybe pretty difficult for the animators (the darkness, the cold water), but it was really impressive the final result. Really congratulations to all that made it possible.
We made a lot of activities, like canoeing (pretty tiring), some games in the swimming pool, archery (I’m absolutely not good at it), some card games (I wont the tournament), and we saw many shows in the evening.
About food, we had a lot of choices, there were italian chefs, every day cooking for us in the restuarant and in an open-air grill (we had to book for the grill)
Only twice I left the village for a daily excursion to the old Alonissos and evening in Patitiri. The place is very beautiful, Alonissos deserves a trip for its characteristics streets, a lot of cats (they are everywhere) and position (on top of a hill). It offers a wonderful panorama.
Patitiri is a fairly small city, nothing particular to be seen, apart from the many shops that sell souvenirs to tourists. Between the two towns, it’s certainly better Alonissos.
