Parked the car, we reach our hotel in Murano by taking a ferry and passing through the church of S. Maria e Donato. Then take another ferry to go to the main island.
We pass by the Basilica di S. Giovanni e Paolo and the Great School of S. Marco, S. Maria dei Miracoli, Piazza S. Marco, S. Maria Formosa, and we arrive at Piazza S. Marco. We visit the interior and we go up the terrace to admire the panorama on the square below.
We continue along the Riva degli Schiavoni passing through Palazzo Ducale, Hotel Danieli, and we go to S. Zaccaria, S. Giorgio dei Greci and S. Lorenzo. We walk through some canals and go back to the Riva degli Schiavoni.
We take a ferry to S. Lazzaro degli Armeni, which we visit internally. After the visit we return to Riva degli Schiavoni and along Via Garibaldi we reach the Arsenal and the church of S. Pietro di Castello. It’s starting to rain.
We cross the arsenal, we pass from S. Martino, S. Giovanni in Bragora, S. Francesco della Vigna, from the Great School of S. Marco and from the nearby Basilica di S. Giovanni e Paolo until we reach the ferry to return to the hotel.
We eat in Murano, and after dinner, we take the ferry again to take some pictures of S. Marco illuminated.

We see the church of S. Maria degli Angeli in Murano, then along the Grand Canal and passing the Rialto Bridge we go to the Lido where we see S. Maria Elisabetta, the votive Temple, S. Nicola, the Old Israeli Cemetery and the neighborhood of Malamocco. We go back to the Grand Canal and get the car to go home.
